The question of the week is What us your usual monthly book budget??
HA! That's too funny. I have no budget, although at the moment I am on a book buying ban (self imposed) due to my TBR pile being so high (that is in the physical sense, I fear it may avalanche on one of the children :P)
I normally buy a book a week. Nothing too exxy mostly only things that are under $15 unless it's a new release that I absolutely can't live without.

Crazy For Books hosts the one and only weekend long book blog hop. The question of the week over that way is If you find a book that looks interesting but is part of a series, do you always start with the first title?
Absolutely yes! There is nothing worse than walking in mid conversation and I feel the same way about books. I would rather be there from the beginning.

I've never had a book budget...sometimes I buy a lot of books, sometimes not many at all. I have a huge TBR pile atm and I really should hold off buying some until I get that down to manageable numbers but....I find a new book every week that I must have!

Seems like no one is really fond of reading out of order.
I don't no the meaning of the words book budget. I tried to impose one on myself a while ago, I failed miserably.

I totally understand what you said about reading series books in order. I don't see the point in starting a series with the book that isn't the first- that's what the numbers are for!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I laugh when people ask me about my book budget. Back when I had money, I could spend a lot on even used books. Now that I write about books constantly, I'm really blessed to not have to buy many myself. I would love to be able to sometimes, though.

Lucky you. you got to go to one of Richelles signing. Supposely she's come to texas for the last sacrifice tour in dec. It'll be an hour away but I'm dying to go to the signing and meet her, and buy the book of course. I can't wait for it. have a good weekend!
