Weekend Question is hosted by Liz at Cleverly Inked. I thought I would give it a whirl this week as I have enjoyed seeing some other posts from this weekly meme.
Do you judge a book by it's cover? If so which is your favorite?
I am terribly judgmental. I understand why publishers think book covers are so important, I will skim right by book if the cover doesn't catch my attention.
One cover that has caught my attention this weekend is
I'm not afraid to say I think this cover is totally hot! I would buy this book just to stare at it while I had something tangible to hold at the time. I have tried to read a Gene Showalter book previously without much inclination to continue reading but this cover alone makes me want to give her another chance.

I'm the same way. I bought Rich and Mad by William Nicholson because I adore the cover.
I'm not much of a Gena Showalter reader but that is definitely a hot cover. I'm pretty judgmental when it comes to covers too - I find it hard to pick up a book that doesn't have an appealing outside. *shallow*
Gah! I am so judgy about book covers! If they are boring/generic/too busy I tend to pass right by them and/or ridicule them (!!!) I feel like a lot of book covers (especially YA) are really similar to one another right now, and that irks me, even though many of them are quite lovely/striking.
